We accept all other insurances when the plan includes out-of-network benefits. Once we receive your intake form and an appointment is scheduled, we will contact your insurance carrier and provide you with a report of your insurance coverage, as it specifically relates to speech therapy. This report will outline what your insurance will cover and what you will be responsible to pay based on your policy and is sent after your appointment is scheduled.
A prompt-pay discount is offered when insurance does not provide coverage for therapy or you are choosing not to use your benefits for whatever reason.

The duration of an evaluation can range from approximately 30-minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the areas being assessed. A speech and language evaluation allows the Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate speech and language skills through standardized tests, observations, parent report, and history. Following the evaluation, you will receive a brief verbal summary of the findings. If speech and language therapy is recommended, the written evaluation report will be reviewed at your child’s first scheduled session. If assessment results indicate that your child presents with age-appropriate communication skills, there will be no additional appointments and you will receive a copy of the written report via electronic mail.
-
The frequency and duration of therapy sessions is dependent on the individual needs of each client. The frequency of your child’s therapy sessions will be determined after the initial evaluation. We typically recommend 30 to 60 minute sessions. Depending on the type and severity of the speech-language disorder, therapy is recommended 1 to 2 times per week.

There is currently no wait for evaluations or therapy appointments. After school appointments are limited.
Unfortunately, the length of time families remain on the waiting list depends on current clients and the waiting client’s flexibility. The more flexible your schedule, the easier scheduling will be once an appointment becomes available.
