meet Shannon
Lead SLP & Owner
Shannon is an ASHA certified Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) and is licensed to provide speech and language services in New York. She received her Master of Science in Education from the College of Saint Rose. Shannon has a passion for helping children with communication disorders grow, and has experience working within the public schools, acute medical setting, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation centers, and outpatient clinics. She has had extensive experience working with pre-school and school-age children.
Shannon values a team approach when working with children and their families, working together to determine and meet their individual needs. She has a passion for meeting children where they are and where their needs lie, and she is motivated to aid them in achieving their highest potential. Shannon is committed to providing the highest quality assessment and treatment to children, as well as educating and empowering families.

meet Marissa
SLP
Meet Marissa, a NYS licensed and ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist with a passion for empowering children and their families. Marissa earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The College of Saint Rose in 2018, followed by her master’s degree in the same field in 2020. With three years of experience working as an SLP in a preschool setting, Marissa has found immense joy in helping children communicate and thrive.
Marissa is excited to embark on a full-time journey with Growing Expressions Together Speech Therapy. Her goal as an SLP is to give each child their own voice while empowering their families to do the same. Marissa believes strongly in educating families and providing them with the tools to support their child in the most holistic way possible.
Thrilled about this new chapter, Marissa can't wait to dive in and become a part of the Growing Expressions Together Speech Therapy team!

meet Megan
SLP-CF
Meet Megan, a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow committed to helping children thrive. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from the University of Rhode Island. Megan began her master’s journey at The College of Saint Rose and completed her degree at Ithaca College in 2025.
Throughout her graduate training, Megan gained diverse clinical experience working with children and adults across a variety of settings. Her experience in childcare, paired with her clinical training, has inspired a passion for delivering holistic, family-centered support to children.
Megan is thrilled to begin the next chapter of her professional journey with Growing Expressions Together Speech Therapy. She looks forward to making a meaningful impact through collaborative, strengths-based speech and language therapy. Her goal as an SLP is to empower every child and their family with the tools, confidence, and support they need to succeed, both in and beyond the therapy room.
